Students Transforming Nations

Students Transforming Nations, or STN, is Youth With A Mission- Madison's student organization on the University of Wisconsin- Madison campus. We focus on building a community where students can come and build their faith together through discipleship and outreach.

Youth With A Mission

Youth With A Mission, is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures, denominations and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (prounounced "WHY-wam"), our purpose is simply to know God and to make him known.
When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world. Today, we still focuso n youth, but have members of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grown into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.
Our vast number of activites fit inot three main categories: training, mercy ministry, and evangelism. YWAM is currently operating in more than 1000 locations over 150 countries, with a staff of nearly 16,000.
